NeoDefender adds style to the defence game

The controls are not the only great thing about NeoDefender. The graphics alone make a good reason to check this game out. The sounds also add to the game ambience, and I like the whole outer space artwork.

NeoDefender is one of the games that we can pick up anytime and have fun playing. I must say that MeYuMe does not disappoint us on this one too, and have got a firm grip on retro style arcade games.

The App is a successful remake of the classic Space Invaders from the year 1978.

Twelve countries (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, France, Spain, India, Japan, Singapore, China and Vietnam) are waiting for their rescue before the invasion from space. Before the cities skylines, it is known to survive around 60 levels. About the motion of the iPhone the player controls the defence.

Good iPhone graphics and controls highlight Invaders World Tour

Invaders World Tour sports good graphics and animation.  The level backgrounds feature locations from all over the world, including New York City, Sydney, and Pisa.  The alien enemies look menacing as they flutter by with smooth animation. It is a perfect title for those looking for a respectful send-up of Space Invaders with a modern twist.

Overall, great game. The art is great. Definite Buy. 4.2 / 5

The game is pretty much a polished Space Invader clone. You travel throughout the world, defending different parts of the country from aliens who are smart enough to build a spaceship but not smart enough to bring anything more powerful than missiles.

This explosively enjoyable twist on the Space Invaders formula will give both your trigger finger and iDevice’s accelerometer a workout as you dodge ‘n’ blast your way through its globe-spanning campaign. Recommended for retro fans, but the unabashedly (80′s era) arcade style  – and it could be said, rudimentary – gameplay may potentially alienate the uninitiated.

You are required to defend our national colors against an onslaught of intrusive aliens that emerge from the sun in an army that includes green monsters with massive teeth, purple octopus looking creatures, and ones that look like potted plants.
